A Message from Tapestry Church's Staff Pastors...
Following the recommendation of the NJ Governor to cancel all public gatherings of more than 250 people to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Tapestry Church will be moving their worship experiences to online only this Sunday at 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM.
We will continue to monitor the situation week by week and hope to resume normal weekend services at our location as soon as we are able.
We want you to join us for our live online broadcast as we continue with our Invest & Invite Series with Guest Pastor, George Hancock from Dallas, TX. You will be able to experience worship and the word from the comfort of your home, our live services will include a chat feature where you will be able to connect with others, share prayer requests, and experience community online.
Anyone can join our online family this weekend, and every weekend, as we broadcast live on Facebook Live (@jctapestry) or online at
Thank God for technology, because we can still connect with you virtually, even if we can’t meet in person!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Has anyone at Tapestry tested positive for Coronavirus?
While there have been no cases of Coronavirus reported by anyone attending or affiliated with Tapestry Church, we believe it’s best to adhere to the ban put in place by New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy by cancelling services this weekend.
Q: I’m leading / participating in a Small Group. Should we still meet?
We are encouraging all Small Groups (adults & youth) to meet together online and continue to support each other. In this digital age, you can continue to find community, care, prayer, and fellowship, even at a distance! There are a number of tools to help you - Google Hangouts Meet, GroupMe, What’sApp, Zoom, and more. Let’s be the church and continue to support each other like family online!
Q: Will church be cancelled next week as well?
The short answer is we don’t know yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The situation with the Coronavirus is changing rapidly, and we’re committed to closely monitoring the situation to make those decisions week by week.
Q: How will Tapestry keep me updated?
We will be posting all updates to our website, jctapestry.com. We will also send weekly updates out via email, mobile app notifications, and social media.
Family, the health and safety of our congregation is our #1 priority, and this decision was made to protect Tapestry families, volunteers, staff, and our broader communities. In this time of uncertainty, we continue to look to Jesus and draw confidence from our loving Father!
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”James 4:8 ESV
We love you all and can’t wait to worship together again in person. Until then, we’ll see you online this weekend!
